A Vancouver native now based in Toronto, Andrew enjoys a burgeoning professional music career performing with the Oshawa Durham Symphony Orchestra and the Brampton Symphony Orchestra. Before making Ontario his new home recently, Andrew had performed widely with many orchestras in and beyond the Vancouver area, including the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, the National Youth Orchestra of Canada and the Symphony Academy Orchestra of the Pacific. Classically trained in the harp with Elizabeth Volpe at the University of British Columbia School of Music and with renowned pedagogue Judy Loman at the University of Toronto, Andrew also studied intensively with Alice Chalifoux at the prestigious Salzedo Harp Colony in Camden, Maine. Striving to be a versatile musician, Andrew's current project is to explore the sound of the harp in various musical genres, including contemporary and jazz, in order to introduce the instrument to a wider public audience. Recently, Andrew joined international recording artist, Dr. Draw, to perform with his band on the electric harp. Together, they completed a tour across the country and the US, achieving much popular success and critical acclaim.
