Vivian Minden and Julia Shaw are classically trained musicians, each with a Master's degree in performance. Vivian studied at the University of Toronto and Julia at the Manhattan School of Music. Both long-term orchestral players, Vivian currently plays flute and piccolo with the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, and Julia, after many years as a harpist with the Calgary Philharmonic, is now one half of the Paragon Harp Duo. Their respective careers have taken them to many stages and pits across North America in opera, ballet and musical theatre productions. Vivian and Julia formed their flute and harp duo in 1994 and actively perform for audiences of all ages at all types of events including weddings and corporate events.
