A graduate of Sheridan College Performing Arts Program. Karen's career has spanned over the better part of two decades. Her first love as a singer has taken her in numerous musical directions from recording projects to fronting her 9 piece R & B band. After auditioning for the award winning musical "RENT" in which Karen landed a lead role, she performed for one year as the character 'Joanne'. Following that, she completed a tremendously successful run in the hit musical "OUTRAGEOUS" which was put on at the Canadian Stage Theatre. Wanting to expand her theatrical talents, Karen performed in a Las Vegas show impersonating "TINA TURNER". Much to Karen's surprise and the shows success, she found herself in high demand and toured exstensively throughout the world. She performed in such places as Malaysia, Germany and even the North Pole. She was a major part of the Legends of Rock tour in Australia which performed live on Television and at major theatre venues. Karen has had the honour of singing the National Anthem at sold out Raptors and Blue Jays games and ou may recognize Karen as the voice in TV and Radio advertisements for Zellers, Direct Energy and Becel. After several years of pursuing her music career Karen decided to focus her energy towards actingwhere she has recently had a reoccuring role in the US show "PLATINUM" and a co-starring role in the CBC movie "CHASING CANE", she has also just wrapped up her first season in the US hit series "PLAYMAKERS".
